Brat style project need some tips!!!!

Hey,

Just got my 1st XS650, its a 1979 US import (as I live in jolly old England) and I'm going down the Brat style road. Just having a little brain fart on how to hold the wiring loom, I know its going under the seat but its a question of what in??? Any tips?

I am looking at mounting the battery under the swing arm, which I think will look quite cool. Just want to know if anyone has tried this or had a problem with this?

Also going to give the engine a little TLC new gaskets and seals, on the heads and clutch area, does anyone know any websites I can order these bits off?

If you are mounting a battery to the swingarm, you will want some sort of lithium-ion battery, compact and acid-less. Such as this one: http://www.mikesxs.net/product/61-2030.html. They aint cheap!
