Brembo caliper and early front fender?

I've collected the parts to do the Brembo caliper swap. I have 34mm forks and the early '75 style front fender with front and rear braces.
Just holding the caliper up by hand, it looks like it will hit the fender brace. Has anyone done this with the early style fender?

Thinking about picking up one of those ebay front fenders with the integral fork brace if my fender won't clear the caliper.

Those fender braces are removable. Just take the front one off. Install your new brakes. Try the brace once that's done. You may get it to fit with a bit of modding.

What brembo caliper are you using? I also have 34 mm forks on my '76 frame race bike. I need more brake, so I am looking to find what rotor and caliper I could use. Let me know please
