Broken engine stud. HELP!

This was my LAST engine stud to remove and the damn thing broke. As you can see on the picture, the whole isn't exactly centered... I'm afraid to do anything else and end up buying another engine case... Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated...

I would start with a drill bit about half the size of the hole, drill towards center at about 20° angle, just past center, then slowly go vertical while still drilling. The idea is to re-establish a centered pilot hole, that can be slowly increased in size and remain centered without being influenced by the original offset hole.

Clear as mud?
 
I bought an upper and lower engine cases in good condition off eBay. Once I get this broken stud off I'll proceed to blast them and put them on eBay. Spent way too many hours working on that today and I made it worse.
