Mine had 3 or 4 broken rear spokes when I bought it. I bought a set of new spokes and replaced all of them. I took a picture of the wheel and did a lot of reading. It wasn't too bad of a job. Trueing it back up was a pain.

If it's an outer, you're in luck. That type can be replaced easily without any of the other spokes being in the way. If it's an inner then you will have to remove several of the outers near it to get the broken one out and a replacement in.
