BS38 differences? Choke 'jet'

[/URL][/IMG] Havin. Trouble getting my rebuilt BS38's dialed in. Was rechecking float levels and noticed that one carb has a jet pressed in, believe it's part of choke circuit, but the other doesn't.

Is this normal or did it break somewhere along the lines?

If it's only choke does it really matter?

The '72 thru '75 carbs have only one enrichner, in the left carb. A crossover tube from there feeds the right carb.
