after losing my first bike i decide to just build a cafe racer from an xs650

cb900 tank?

What is the shock from, was it designed for direct linkage?

Looks pretty cool so far man, just remember to work out all the engineering issues now, not down the road after it's too late to change em

yes a cb900 tank,the shock is from a r6 a stock one ,i design the bracket to reduce the leverage so the shock can work properly ,most of the problems intalling a monoshock comes from bad aligment and poor leverage reduction ,sorry for my english i talk spanish.thanks for the feedback.

Thanks man, I hope to have her rideable this summer. Just need a few things here and there. But completely possible with time and money. Two things that seem unattainable. LOL

how to build a cafe racer seat: look for a round trash can ,dont let your wife see you taking the trash can.cut can to your desired shape,buy fiberglass ,learn to use fiberglass,enjoy.

i buy it from a friend that owns a hardware store,he sells it for 5 dollars a quart.i have tried the one from wester auto and is tha same,the only difference is the price.they sell a gallon for like 20 bucks without taxes.

after a few hours trying to find the best cushion for my behind if find something good

if find these piece of foam wich is firm but no that much,actually is very comfy.

i wrap it with some nice black leather ,im gonna spend a lot of time sitting there ,so is better to put something good in there.

came out better than i expect ,first time luck i guess,if i try to do it again is probably gonna catch fire or something.

i know is late ,but i just wanted to sit on the bike, make racing engine sounds and just dream im riding my 50 bucks ex-piece of crap that the guy who sell it to me think i was joking when i said that i will pay a 100 for it he said that he would take 50 if i just take it out of his property.some people trash is gold for another
