Building my first xs650, have questions

Ok i have a 1980 xs650, im stripping it down to do a new tc bros hardtail. So i have a few questions about everything. It has the mag wheels with disc brakes, i want to do a bigger brakeless front wheel and a spoke rim in the back with drum brakes. What rims will work? another question is what is a good throttle to get. I want something smaller cause im trying to keep the bike basic and sleek. Thanks

Hi and welcome,
For the front wheel if you're not doing brakes, there are Harley wheels out there, have a search on this forum and you'll find some good examples, for the back you will need, obviously the wheel but possibly the associated axle too. With the TC hardtail you can make up the braces required to suit.
As for throttle, you could choose between conventional or internal, depending on your budget. I have opted forms single cable external throttle kit for 7/8 from eBay. Quite p,ease with it so far
