well it was going to be my big day!!! been building this bike for 10 months. start my 1977 xs bratt and took it around the block a few times. little missing hear and there. back firing through carbs. ( didn't have air cleaners on ) any way i l seen lots of oil coming out. here the left side banjo bolt on top of oil tub busted right off and bottom of tub was busted off! i have a spare engine so i replaced tub and banjo bolt. and took it for a short ride and right side banjo bolt busted off! now what? i have no idea what can cause this? still have two spare bolts but what would cause this? it is back firing more on second test ride, can any one help me?
