Everywhere I've experienced there is a place on the Bill of Sale/Title to show that the odometer is invalid. There's no foul once that box is checked. Most? states do not require an odometer disclosure after the vehicle is 10 years old. Cuz well it gets meaningless. Anyone want a 72 norton showing 240 miles on the ODO? A speedo rebuilder I worked with on different bike said tell me what you what the odo to show and I'll set it.
Was it on the center-stand when the wind knocked it over?Honestly folks, I am not going for any type of world record with the number of times my bike tips over.
Is Friday, the day you are leaving on vacation, the best day of the week to arrive home and find your bike on its right side? If it's not the best day for that, I did it wrong.
The mirror is toast but I do have a spare round one. I just need to remove the windscreen to put it on.
Speaking of the new windscreen, the lower, inner corner broke off and the blinker lens is busted. the light still works but the shank is slightly bent like the other side.
Buzzy started right up though and I took him to the back yard where he is better protected from the wind.
Tomorrow, while I am away, I will receive the engine guards from @Wingedwheel. My neighbor is standing by to receive them in my absence. Maybe if I had them installed Buzzy would be less damaged.

No, kick stand. Would it be better 9n center stand? Was it on the center-stand when the wind knocked it over?
Wait, what? crash bar, crash bars?We got these “drop guards” for the wife’s bike. They keep the chrome/bar from getting messed up if the bike tips over. I can attest to the fact that they do work.View attachment 201994
If the ground under it is stable a center stand is in my humble opinion always better. I very seldom use the side stand on any of my bikes. Even when parked in my shop.N

If you look close you can see the guards mounted to the engine/crash bars, the manufacturer also states that they can be ground and re-polished if they get scratchedWait, what? crash bar, crash bars?
I do see the point, I guess.
Can I protect those somehow?
