Could anyone confirm the thread size and pitch for the bleeder screw on late model calipers? I'm fairly sure it's an M8 x 1.25mm, but don't have proper measuring tools on hand to verify. Thanks
Thanks Scott. From my research, it appears that the bleed screws were different on the 1972 - 76 calipers than the 1977 - 84's. I think they may have had a finer thread. This supports the ruler-based measurements of the ones from my 1980 special...
Those should be available at most auto parts stores. Here in the US they are plentiful under the brand Dorman. Take yours in to match the thread size and length.
