The 8x10x10 clutch push rod bushing from Mikes has some stamping on it.
0810ZWD05. ZWD stands for??? Zinc with diamond dust??
The original looks to be brass lined.
In looking for other possible local suppliers I am finding descriptions
with coding like ZUB, ZB UM and so forth.
Can anyone school me on the coding or point me to a chart that explains it.

While I have your ear the bushing is a split seam bushing so would it be better to have the split at 12, 6, 9, or 3 using a clock face as orientation.

Also would a solid (no seam) bushing be an option in your opinion?

Anyone in the industry that might have a suggestion for other options?

Hey, weekendrider,
I made mine solid, stainless steel, .001 interference fit, .005 clearance to polished/straight rod.
Orientation? I guess I would go with 12 o`clock (hold oil to lube shaft & seal).

If you need to purchase like 1000 from ZWD to make the deal happen, I'll take one if that'll help, lol.

BWHAHAHAHA
5twins I'll keep that in mind. Even if I go with the ones in the link below.

Damn jayel you made that look easy.
Can you help with the description/part number of these?

TwoManyXS1B's you may have answered what the 05 at the end of Mikes bushing is.
And I think seam to the top may be best also.

Anyone else noticed the stock bushing has a brass liner

don't have a clue may just be company model/part designation seen that ASB bearing and thought OK, Alien Space Bat
