Hi guys came back from a ride all good ,turned the ignition switch to put away in the garage "nothing" no lights totally dead so I checked the battery fine and tested the ignition switch fine but no power getting to the switch
I followed the red live from the battery and stripped lots of electrical tape to find the wires were just twisted and badly taped together and they were loose
so I put connecters on red from battery to red on switch /brown from switch to brown on loom
but the two blue wires from the ignition switch weren't connected?
I put a connecter on the blue and white wire and it was extended with a piece of wire but didn't seem to be connected to anywhere just pushed in to the loom cover ?
I now have everything working but not the brake lights?
The back light is on but the bulb seems very bright (I think its the brake light filament that's on ) so after reading several posts ,could the reserve lighting unit be the fault would it stop the brake lights working and put the brake light permanently on?
what should the blue white wire be connected to?

any help most appreciated
thanks
