can I cap the red/white wire?

I've got a bit confused - I've got the loom out of the bike(72 model) and PO's have had a great time with the loom - I dont have elec start, sfety relay or stater solenoid - which is ok by me. I'm just wondering if I should connect the red white wire to anything or just cap it of?

I cant remember if it was connected to anything when I took the loom out

According to THIS diagram, red/white should go from the ignition switch to the kill switch, then to the R/H coil

That diagram has a major error in it. It shows the left coil's power wire running to ground. The R/W should split and feed both coils. Try this one .....

I'm not saying that one is 100% correct either, lol. Wiring diagrams are notorious for having errors in them, shop manuals too.
