Can I leave the cylinder and head on and split the case

So I’m going to split the case to just work on the transmission and I want to leave to top end intact and I wanna know if it’s possible?

Yes . Turn it upside down and remove the bottom case half without consequence.

I did it last year. I replaced my transmission with the top end intact.

Download the factory service manual. It contains a map of all those fasteners. There is at least one of them is hidden.

Ok guys I got her apart and found the problem and now I’m wondering what number of yamabond to use to glue it together with?

Don't have to rush. I have also been using it on all my gaskets.
