Hey guys, what about something already made by Yamaha that could be adapted? Don't need much, just protection around the Pivot Bolt joint and bearing seal. Having the same issue on my buddy's bike I'm working on. He had the 19" rear wheel adaption kit on and longer Hagon shocks. Then he put a smaller sprocket on the back(with the increase of wheel diameter?).
Don't think he or the guys doing it for him thought about the two changes together, but he did want something he could cruise at a quick pace on the Los Angeles freeways. Gotta get away from them dumbass drivers.

I'm sorry, but isn't a chain tensioner on the top of the chain purposeless? Under any load from the motor that chain will become a straight line between the top tooth of the Mainshaft sprocket and the Rear wheel sprocket, making any kind of chain guide useless.
I see my '77 swingarm has a captured thread for the fender mount up front. If your Special SA is the same, you could use this to bolt on a flat piece of common ABS sheet cut to fit. ABS is easy to heat and bend over the arm for a more custom fit.
