Clutch basket nut and clutch springs

7 plate springs are about 34mm long, 6 plate springs about 42mm long. 6 plate springs are usually marked with blue paint or dye too .....

I was wondering what would happen if the older shorter springs were fitted to the newer 6 plate clutch, lol. I guess this sort of proves the later springs are stiffer.

I used an electric impact wrench to get it off, and the last time I was in there and I installed allen screws Because yes the screws were buggered up And I also paid dearly for 2 clutch hub holding tools too (spend a buck to save 50 cents )
What the hell I'll hang it on the wall as a conversation starter (I'll tell em it's to fix the knifler valve on the bike)

Oh man i am so happy to hear someone else has a knifler valve on their bike. I was about to think that tool was going to sit idle.
I use mine to chamfer my rims too when I cant get the tires off.
