The Dutch Terror
I've adjusted my clutch but finding Neutral has been a pain , and today trying to shift back and forth even from First to Second was near impossible. I'm thinking I'll just rebuild the whole clutch. Might be as simple as the needle bearing, but in a 30 year old bike with ~20,000 miles on it, I'd feel better just starting fresh. Here's my shopping list:
(6) Friction Plates
(1) Clutch Hub Lock Tab
(1) Clutch Boss Retaining Wire
(1) Clutch Hub Spring Washer
(1) Needle Bearing w/ Hub Washer
(1) Right Side Clutch Cover Gasket
And while I'm in there:
(1) Set of Upgraded Clutch Springs
(1) Set of Upgraded Spring Screws
So here's the questions. Anything here I'm obviously missing? While I have that cover off, does it make sense to do any other upgrades? Thanks!
