Do I need tubes with the alloy 81 xs wheels.
I was gonna use the spokes and knew I needed tubes
But do they work tubeless on the alloys

I run them with tubes on my mags.

Depends on the mags, some of the early mags needed tubes. The later ones that could run tubless say so on one of the spokes. As in "suitable for tubless tires".

it doesn't matter what the mag is Leo, the tire is a bias ply tube type tire, IT NEEDS a tube

Just followed the links. That tire needs a tube. So if running that tire put in a tube. Most tires can be ran with or with out a tube. So other tires it depends on the mag, some do, some don't.

I've run them tubeless on 83 mags with no problems at all.
