I just got a XS650 and it has a temp gauge dipstick.
There are two lines near the end, however, I would like to verify that they are the correct distance from the bottom of the cap.
Can someone tell me the correct distance to the two lines?
Thanks...Al

The temp dip stick that Dogbunny sells is right. I don't think the specs for a stock dipstick match.
If you have a stock dip stick, just hold them up next to each other. Match the sealing surfaces where they set in the case. The hi/lo marks should line up.

Thanks,everyone.....I'll be back!!
The 1979 XS650 I bought has Mikuni VM carbs, one that leaks, dual front disc with air valves for the forks, extended swingarm and other non-stock items I might have question about;... After I do several searches and try to figure it out first.

Grinder, I tried search, but, I failed, don't know how I missed that :banghead:.Thanks for the link.I think I can figure it out now

XSLeo This is not a dogbunny temp gauge and I don't have a stock one only the temp gauge dipstick that came with the XS650
