i guess since i have metal lying around, if i see an opportunity to save a few bucks i can't resist.
some 1/4" aluminum, 4 machined aluminum standoff bushings, 4 flathead socket screws, a couple nylon insert nuts, and voila... careful layout work required, but the only real function of the bracket is to position the non-moving stator. red Loctite used on screws into case. hope it holds. will be testing.
kudos to mrriggs and HHB (and anyone else i'm not aware of) for their write-ups and work on PMA's.
