Picked this '74 TX650A last March and spent the summer making it pretty and doing the usual, fork seals, clutch pushrod seal, output shaft seal, swingarm bushings, and a lot of polishing and painting. Got it on the road around October and found I was using an excessive amount of oil and leaving drips and smoke everywhere I went. So, over the winter had the cyls bored 2nd over with new pistons and rings, soda blasted the head and cyls, painted the cyls, repainted the tank after dropping it on the floor, painted more of the frame while the motor was out, replaced a LOT of hardware with chrome or stainless, new back tire, new seat cover, polished the rear hub and painted the inside, new stainless spokes, tach drive seal, and I'm DONE. Fired it up for the first time yesterday, road testing starts tomorrow. Thanks to all who helped out with parts or tech advice- made it a lot easier process.

It was great to see your scoot in person today! Making me ashamed my chop is taking so long! :)
