I have a 1978 Yamaha XS650. Basically the man I bought it from re did all of the wiring so it is a complete mess!! Everytime I would ride the bike with the led strip he has as a tail light, a fuse would blow out of the hour fuses that are in the bike. So I replaced with the light with a stock honda tail light. Bike worked fine but it was way to big of a tail light. So I bought a new tail light from low brow customs. 3 wires. Red, black and yellow. I put the new tail light on and also took the exhaust off and replaced the wrap. I started the bike with the new tail light and it started right up. After about 5 mins the bike died. Then when I went to start it it won't fire back up. Drained the battery!!! Does anyone think I blew something like a starter relay or something? All of the fuses are fine.
