electrical oversight

Last season I removed the Engine to do a Valve Job. Prior to removal I had the full compliment of electrical capabilities, starter, lights horn etc.
After instalation I have naught, nothing, save a clicking when I activate the Horn.
I bought a brand new Battery & its fully charged. I am not a great wire person, but I have a gut feeling I didn't do a simple task. I checked all of the plugs & comnnections visually and everything appears fine. If any Ideas come to mind I would appreciate it
