I have a 1978 XS650 Yamaha. My battery is fully charged, the main fuse has not been blown, the ignition switch is connected, All connections to the battery and ground to the frame are good. Everything was running fine yesterday, I went to turn it on this morning, and there is no juice to anything. Any ideas?

If your bike is a 78 Special, it has the 4 position fuse panel with glass fuses. The glass fuse, for the main 20 amp fuse, could look to be intact, but the fuse clips get weak and corrode. Try removing the fuse, and use a temporary jumper,as a test, across the 2 clips.

If its a 78 Standard, you should inspect the single main fuse/fuse holder.

Have you actually measured the voltage across the battery terminals? You should see 12.4 to 12.5 volts for a fully charged battery.
