Engine Cylinder is stuck?

So i just got the cylinder head and valves part off, and now im trying to get the main part of the cylinder off, and ive removed all the bolts and was wondering if the pistons create a vacuum seal or something along the lines of that avenue cause i can get this thing of to save my life another ? to, since im buying new pistons, rings, rephasing, do you guys think i should buy valves to? and what are your views on a jockey shifter

once i get it off i can send it in to get the crank and cam to get rephased

Can you turn the crank? If not, the rings are probably frozen to the cylinder wall.

When I took mine apart I gave the jugs a tap with a rubber mallet to break the gasket bond between the case and cylinders. No vacuum in there with the head off.

Make sure the piston is straight in relation to the cylinder. It might be at too much of an angle and jammed.
