Well, isn't that interesting. Last night mama and I watched, from 1957, Tyrone Power, Marlene Dietrich, Charles Laughton, and wait for it, Elsa Lanchester in "Witness for the Prosecution" Coincidence?
If you saw it on TCM, then perhaps they are doing "Elsa Lanchester week".
Altho many remember her for her monster role, she was quite a beauty, IMHO.
