I wasn't happy having to twist the lower hose to connect it to the stock divider, so I made another. The switch is out of the way and out of sight below the lower tree, the upper hose connects to the side of the new divider and the lower hose connects to the front of the divider.

Not sure if I like the look of this divider though, more procrastination required me thinks.

That was ugly, this new one goes some way to correct that. I'll hook it up tomorrow and see how it looks.

mmmumble mumble. Um THAT one looks great ;^)
Looks tricky getting the ends round, use the 4 jaw?
don't know about you but I'm a "design build" kind of guy, get an idea, start making it, then often as not, come up with 3 or 4 changes that would make it better, then the "good enough? or start over" debate rages for a bit.

Yep, four jaw for the round ends and running a thread in them. Mill for the two tapped holes in the back. That was all very easy, hard part was getting the front rounded. For that I cut the two corners at 45 degrees on the Mill, then rounded them on the belt grinder - very carefully.

I may make something two or three times before I'm happy with its functionality and look. Never work from plans, just an idea in my head, along with all the other rubbish.
