First Ride On My Bike, Weird Running Issue

Finally got my xs to a point where I could ride it for the first time today. I rode it a couple of miles to the store and it ran perfect, tons of power just like it should. I turned the bike off went in the store and when I rode it back it had no power. I thought maybe the rear brakes were stuck, that's what it felt like. The bike will start up and idle perfect but it still has no power. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

1977. 700, pamco and pma. 32mm FCR carbs

So... Did you check your brakes?
Im betting junk in the carbs. Do you have a fuel filter?l
Does the advnce rod move smoothly? Spring back?
