Here's to you and your brother for taking that trip.Good to see that you got the chance to do it. Man, I wish we had curvy roads around here! I've been lookin'. Hope your next trip is less of a pain.

Anytime you make it there an back is a good trip. No wonder your back was hurting the handle bars you have on the bike are not the best choice for comfort. I would suggest that you find a handle bar that is better suited for longer rides and a better riding position. I just put on a set of eurosport bars on my bike they seem comfortable enough for longer rides. I have only done a couple of hours riding at one time but could do more no problem.
