Footrest bracket mounting rubbers? Are they Gold plated?

A lil' update.

Inspecting my square O-rings on the footpegs, installed 1-1/2 years ago, shown in post #16.

Found one that started to split, the lower/outer of the left footpeg.

That particular location gets the most load, since I mount the centerstanded bike from that left footpeg. All the other o-rings are fine. Shaved off the old o-ring, and super-glued a new one...

as of 6/8/2019 just test rode 50 miles. I did notice some vibration in my feet but hadn't been paying attention before hand.

had these off several thousand miles later during other maintenance all is good. I don't notice any extra vibration over standard rubbers and the pegs have not sagged.
