Forks leaking from top screw

Hey guys! I recently lowered my forks on my 79 with the lower kit on here and now that I put a 10 weight fork oil in them they are leaking out of the screws in the top. The oil seems really thin, could it be too thin and seaping out? Is there a seal bad? They didnt leak before I lowered them, but the oil seemed alot thicker also.

To use better terminology its leaking from the fork cap and the preload adjustment screw. Looks like i may have a bad fork cap "o" ring, but why is it leaking from the adjustment screw??

bad preload adjustment screw o-ring? 10wt is what I run, and is what is recommended by the factory.

What lowering kit did you use ? How much oil did you put in the lowered fork ? Just took mine apart today and I am needing to lower them 3".
