Yeah thats what I was thinking .. there Harley hummer forks form the 40's (1942 I believe is the set im look at )
they seem to be stamped steel maybe?? Idk the legs are flat not tubular

They are stamped steel, with a rubber band suspension. I used to make the rubber band from old inner tubes-only partly successful. If its in good shape you could sell it for GOOD money, and buy something suitable, which that is not. The old two stoke HDs are valuable. They weren't Hummers until the 60's, but same basic bike for all the years.
