76 Motor up for grabs everything except carbs. Needs 2 pistons and boring cleaning and reassembling. A knowledgable motorcycle mechanic said it needs a complete going through on top end. Bottom end is fine. Even throwing in both partially polished side covers.

I am getting rid of it as we have no room to store spare parts (wifes already moaning on bike being in kitchen) and I have bought a complete running motor with carbs etc.

Tried to sell it but money aint everything. If it helps someone elses project along its a lot better than it going to the junk man as scrap.

I certainly could use the oil delivery tube off the engine (the whole assembly). Mine is toast from a remote oil cooler (DERALE brand) that was installed many, many year ago. Now I'm going back to the stock setup but the the oil delivery tube needs to returned to the stock unit. It it the W shaped metal tube down into the bottom end. Any chance you could remove and ship it to me. I'd of course pay for shipping.

I've for a 78 XS650 Special. I believe the oil tube is the same for all years.
