Well, I didn't FINISH the swingarm, but it is all tacked and ready to weld tomorrow, I think it turned out pretty well. It's finally not too stiff, or too soft, and it's still adjustable! I may still some struts to make it indestrutable.

And there's plenty of room for the chain!

Thanks everyone. I'm still not completely site I like how the swingarm came out, but it took so long, and it works correctly... it'll stay for now. It'd be easy enough to change it later if necessary

I was thinking of mounting a remote seat set up like this one.

It'd be hard to hide electronics in it, but what do you guys think? I'm having trouble deciding on a design.

Seen some micro-led lights wrapped around back of a seat like that, so something is out there.

Could make a faux accumulator on left side of shock, hiding place?
If you go kick-only, empty starter space could be another hidey-hole, capacitor?

The micro LEDs in the seat could be neat!

As far as hiding the electronics in the starter hole, it's a 71 motor... kick only from the factory, so there's no void.

I envy your location, good access to materials, hi-tech, maybe some electronics wizards who could design small/slim/hideable rectifier-regulator-li-ion battery.

Didn't realize till now that with that much suspension travel, seat doesn't need to be sprung, like that beemer pic. Could make scalloped box seat gusset/bracket that holds stuff...

Yeah, I'll get about 4.5" of travel in the rear suspension. I think it's a bit overkill, considering my other bike is hardtail.

I wasn't quite satisfied with how the swingarm was coming out, so I FIXED it. What do you think? Better?

Here's Before:

Here's the updated version :D:

I'm having a hell of a time coming up with a good seat idea. Any suggestions/pictures?
This is sort of what I'm thinking of, but don't know how it'd work on a soft tail...
