Hey xs650,

question so I have everything together. I am using a cognitomoto stem pressed into the lower Gsxr tree. I had to use 2 spacer to clear the bottom tube. Now when I put the 2 spanner nuts on top there is a 2-3mm gap.

now here’s the question do I need to put another spacer on the lower tree ? I’ve contacted cognitomoto but with it being the holidays I’ll probably get a response sometime next week.

has anyone done this swap using cognitomoto stem and the stock trees ? I followed the instructions provided, just want to know if I did something wrong.

Not the style build I expected to see, but looks pretty good. I can’t help with your question; other than just reinforcing to relax. Cognito moto will get back with you they are a reliable company so you shouldn’t worry.

I am, just thought I’d ask the forum and yes I have search.

Maybe they sized it for tapered roller bearings? The top bearing sits a bit proud when using the tapered rollers.
