Thought this chart might help some who wonder about setting up their sprockets. Aside from all the conversations made, I selected to go with a 530 "O" ring chain, with a 17 tooth front sprocket and a 33 tooth rear sprocket. I'm sure their many other preferences and selections by many others, just thought I'd add my 2 cents. I just liked the chart!

Hers a dynamic Excel spreadsheet that shows RPM vs MPH for all combinations of gears, tires and sprockets.

The chart uses rolling distance of the rear tire for one revolution of the wheel as there is no accurate way to measure the diameter or the circumference of a motorcycle tire due to its round cross section.
Use the orange cell pull downs to select the desired sprockets and rolling distance.
