Harley springer on XS

Help!! I have been reading that you can put on a harley springer front end on my 79 xs650 and I was wondering if anyone has done this before or if they have any experience doing this. Any info is much appreciated.

You can,I believe you need to do some machining and bearings? Not 100% sure on it, but tc bros sells an already done springer from moto iron.

Yes you can done it but the springer I had... had to have the post shortened . The stock Harley one was a little longer.
Do the install the same as a DNA SPRINGER
1" bearings top and bottom
New XS650 RACES top and bottom (have to buy complete kit)
Cut 1/16" off bottom of neck so lower bearing is at proper height.
Then the only think you may have to make is some studs for risers if you don't have any.
