Anyone out there know of the top of your head what drop will give me roughly 3" ground clearance?? And any probs being that low??

Depends on your tire size, fork height, wheel size etc. 3" is pretty low, I would avoid parking lots with speed bumps.....

stock clearance is around 5.5-6" i think.
mine is 3" if i lean a corner too much i drag the frame where the exhaust used to mount
