How is the Ethanol treating your the carbs and engines?

Was listening to a radio show this morning about the natural gas industry. Apparently a guy was talking about his company Shell that currently has 100 semi trucks in Louisiana area running on Liquid Natural Gas (LNG). There is scheduled to be multiple filling stations for LNG to be coming to PA by the end of the year. The cost for LNG now is only 0.33 a gallon. But with limited filling stations their current range is limited. So even if the cost is half of what diesel fuel is that lowers the price of transportation of all products shipped by truck in this country.
Funny part about diesel fuel is that it used to be basically trash thrown away in the production of gasoline. That is until some one found a way to make money on it, hence the diesel engine.

Had to come back here to let you guys know.
I had to explain to my 7 year old son today about propaganda because global warming was discussed in school last week. It's hard telling him that the teacher is full of shit while wanting him to learn from these people and do good in school. Honestly I really should move out of NYC because they are basically brainwashing my son. I can't afford to move just yet but soon I think.
For example during black history month last year they were learning about Martin Luther king (which is fine) and the equal rights era (again fine) so we're sitting around the dinner table and he said some kid was picking on him a bit and pushed him. So I said punch the kid in the nose and he'll leave you alone, advice that's served me well in my years. His reply was that MLK wouldn't do that (OK I bit my tongue a bit) then he said that "all white people were bad back then" Now we are not a family of bigots, hell I'm half Irish and half Puerto Rican, the kids however are as pale as a hooker in church. I explained to him that there are only bad and good people of all colors so the color of someone shouldn't matter. I saw I was staring to lose him as a blank stare was coming over his face and it dawned on me. I asked him what color was MLK and he said "I don't know" innocently, then I ask well buddy, what color are you? Again he said "I don't know". Needless to say I went up to school and has a word with his teacher and principal. One comment the teacher in her late 20's made was "well most white people were in fact racist and all around bad people" I snapped and said "Were you there!?"
If this isn't obvious brainwashing I don't know what is. They are fucking with kids views on their world. They are so innocent and they obviously don't see color and should be left alone. Instead they are forcing liberal ideas in my sons head. Which again would be fine if they gave him both sides and let him decide for himself. How they can expect a 6 Year old to comprehend these complex ideas is beyond me. Don't get me started on college...

Funny because gasoline was the unwanted trash byproduct from making kerosene back in the day.
cafechef, The diesel engine was first designed to burn vegetable oil. The Germans had no petrol resources but could grow vegetables to make oil, that's why the diesel engine.
Detale, yes your kids are being brain washed to believe in the liberal BS that pervades our society. Just like most of the media is doing in movies, tv, radio, magazines.
Thats the way the liberals and government want it. Feed them BS until they can't think for themselves, then the liberal government can control the people.

man I feel for ya. It is amazing what some teachers speew from their mouths without thinking of how it can effect these kids. In pa home schooling or cyberschool has become rather popular and has been growing. You are right that kids don't see colors until they are taught to see them. Just keep teaching him that he has to think for himself and no question is a dumb one. I know not easy for a 6yo to comprehend. That is the liberal way now, they know they cant beat you with honesty cause socialism has never ever worked ANYWHERE! So they pervert their minds as kids. The right tells you that being abused and controlled by corporations is good for you, and the left tells you that they'd like to keep you from being screwed, but they just can't achieve bipartisan support. Ur correct grizld! It needs to go back to being about freedom and liberty. Much like a motorcycle in a rush hour traffic jam of cars and trucks. We are an island in the great big sea of danger. The government needs to stop running everyones lives and allow the people to be free to succeed or fail on our own. Much like building a motorcycle, there is freedom to do as you like, cause in the end you have to ride it no one else does. Its all partof the ride we call life. Still I am thankful I live here and would choose to live anywhere else on earth, and many thanks to our gets who allow us to enjoy our freedoms.
