Hey everyone, happy Easter!
So, my regi is wrong , I know that. I’ve got what appears to me, a 76.
I’m asking as I have to order a wire harness from Mike’s xs, and I would like to make sure I have the right one on order
I had one on order from Asylum, but I have to source from a different supplier… yeah . Not super good .
So, if anyone can show me a “tell” on a 76 vs. 77, that would be helpful !

Thanks in advance
Nick

Biggest "tell" will be the front fork and front disc and MC. The '76 model was the last year for the 34mm fork (tube diameter) and the early 2 piston caliper. Also, the MC with the round fluid reservoir.

post up some pics or have a look here at the different models. Basically the change was a new front end from fork size, (internals as well). to the caliper an brake rotor

When it comes to the wiring there isn't much difference Mainly the gauge set up and 77 was the first year the headlight was set up with a fail safe circuit
