I'm working on an engine rebuild here and I have Hugh's PMA. Does anybody have experience removing the magnet from the crank? I know that it is a press fit but I don't want to bang it up in the removal process. Can you recommend a method or tools to accomplish this task?

Do you mean the stock charging rotor? You can use a 3 jaw puller (not recommended) or a specialty tool sold everywhere you can get XS parts. There are even several people on here that have the tool. Im sure one of them will sell/loan it to you.

If you mean to remove the PMA flywheel that Hugh supplies then you will need a different specialty tool. I believe it is the same tool to remove a banshee flywheel.

Hugh maybe you can verify this ...
