I know this has been asked at least a thousand times.... I have an 82 and am getting ready to wire it:doh::banghead:! Which ignition is the most user friendly to wire. Im not using the starter, only the head and tail lights. i have stared at the diagrams over and over. Do i have to use a cap or can i use a battery instead? This is all new to me!

William you don't have to use a capacitor. Do you know if you're engine ran before you took things apart? If so then just stick with your TCI if you're uncomfortable doing a mag swap. I know I was uncomfortable whenever I started doing the wiring. Now I'm just doing a wire a day :D gotta figure this shit out somehow, but really the mag swap and the Pamco swap I did within a matter of an hour or two.

No idea if it was running. One of the plug wires were cut off when i got it so i figured i would just replace it all. I see the pamco on mikesxs but no idea which to buy:doh:. Pretty much want to start from scratch so i know it front and back!
