Ignition Coil

Afternoon everybody,

So I worked out my wiring issue, but the bike is still not cranking. I think that the ignition coil might be bad, still searching on how to troubleshoot that. The coil is receiving power, but the spark plugs (which are new) are not firing. So that leads me to believe bad coil, and or plug wires.

Thoughts or advise on troubleshooting this and/or if I replace the ignition coil, what should I invest into? I am not running a PMA system, I still have the stock reg/rec and a lead battery. Eventually I am still wanting to cafe' this and know a lot of that will have to change but I don't have the coin now for it.

If I'm not mistaken, you have a TCI (electronic ignition).
You have to learn to use the search function on the site.
Upper left corner "Google Custom Search"..................type in something like "TCI not working". Lots of threads to read and learn from.
