Indentify that part/exhaust help

So my neighbor said she saw this part sitting underneath my '75 today. Any ideas what it is?





Also, it seems as though I've lost the makeshift baffles that the PO had in the "mufflers," so maybe it's time for new exhaust. Any preferences on who makes good exhaust systems? I'm trying to not spend too much money. Also, any good shops in the Waukesha or Milwuakee, Wisconsin area?

That's injection molded plastic. I don't think it belongs on your bike. Perhaps a low-friction bushing or spacer. Might look into your other vehicles and lawn/snow care equipment...
