Ci scusiamo in anticipo perché in chat non è possibile ascoltare il motore sonoro o le persone hanno la magia della sfera. ho un xs 650 del 1983 da poco e qui a Bali, in Indonesia, nessun garage mi può supportare. Un meccanico ricostruisce il motore. Nuove guarnizioni di tenuta e registro del braccio oscillante. Parametri Valvole e Catena. Ma il motore ha lo stesso suono di Bell. un suono normale da questo motore o forse animalesco?

We apologize in advance because in chat it is not possible to listen to the sound engine or people have the magic of the sphere. I have a 1983 xs 650 recently and here in Bali, Indonesia, no garage can support me. A mechanic rebuilds the engine. New seals and swing arm register. Valves and Chain Parameters. But the engine has the same sound as Bell. a normal sound from this engine or perhaps animalistic?

Well I guess we can clearly see his plea for help. Gonna be difficult with only a description of the sound it makes - how to see & hear a vid.

I'll take a stab in Indonesian:

Mesin XS650 yang disesuaikan dengan benar tidak menimbulkan kebisingan mekanis berlebih seperti ketukan atau dering. Jika kebisingan berlebih sama dengan rpm mesin, mungkin piston atau batang penghubung aus. Jika kebisingan setengah rpm mesin, mungkin valvetrain atau rantai cam tidak disesuaikan dengan benar.



Rantai cam dan katup perlu disesuaikan secara berkala dan merupakan sumber umum kebisingan berlebih. Bisakah Anda menyesuaikan katup ke intake .10mm dan exhaust .15? Dan juga menyesuaikan pengatur rantai cam sehingga poros internal dan baut penyetel sejajar saat motor berada di atas perjalanan piston (tanda T pada roda gila)?

On my phone. Open up new tab and type into search "google translate", hit search, and it/translate opens up in the New tab, then copy and paste. Translate detects language. Can change the conversion to a different language when English is clicked on, as in the first screenshot.

my engine have rebuild last month. Piston and ring good. Valves same. And mechanic setup valves and chain from book original for 447 . In fact first week engine have normal sound. No muffler. Engine. After 50/70 km slowly start Bell's sound. Mechanic talk chain and valves no change setup. But for me no all clear. You stay in bali?

Se tieni un'asta d'acciaio o un cacciavite contro l'orecchio e contro il motore in vari punti forse puoi localizzarlo meglio

Yes I use this technical for Try to trace the problem. But I don't understand. And I honestly don't want to open again the cylinders yet. It could also be the very worn tensioner. But maybe the valve guide hypothesis is more correct. The comprenssion is good. Cold or hot. No difference. Maybe next week's I open again cylinders. Because By hypothesis I have no answers or solutions
