Hey all,
I have a 1977 Xs650. I recently slapped on the MAC 2-1 exhaust on her, and also threw on CounterBalanceCycles beaut of a 2-1 intake manifold.
My question is, with this adjustment, how should i properly jet the carbs? I have aftermarket VM slide carbs. I originally had two carbs with pods, and two cut pipes. Now I have one carb, and 2-1 MAC out take, muffler included.
For the spark plugs, I've heard that I need to run hotter plugs due to the 2-1 intake manifold being positioned on the left side, as seen in the photo. Right now, I'm running NGK BP7ES's.
If any one has experienced this before and knows what to do, would love the help. Thanks.
