Just a heads up and beaware of scams

Was just dealing with a guy for a Harness kit and it turns out to be a scam. I always ask the questions of where you live what bike you are building and most people who have dealt with me know that. Well could not get info out of this guy had a problem with his paypal and I told him I only take USPS money orders. Well going back and forth about the money and his money carrier made a big mistake and is sending me $850.00 dollars instead of $85.00. So he wanted me to send back the difference. Now I am old but I seen every scam there is on the outside with credit cards and on the internet. So I told him when I get it I am sending it back to the address on the envelope because you will not give me a address and like I do I gave my phone number. WELL!!!! haha all of the conversations between me and him are gone from yahoo mail. But I will let you all in on something I do. If you contact me threw my email I copy the conversation so I know what we talked about. So LARRY GUY if you want a harness from me USPS money order.

I always check the Email address to make sure that the displayed address is not just a front for a false one. Had one this week where I had apparently spent £110 online for some motor parts. The Email address looked to be an authentic PayPal address, but hidden behind it was some other Email address.

How can he delete your emails to him??................ All my emails i send are automatically saved in my saved email list..................If you have a Facebook account and use your phone to connect to Facebook and use the phone for texting then all of your information and Text conversations are stored in your personal information on Facebook. Facebook has been secretly storing any information about search histories, GPS satellite information, (if using or just having the GPS active on the phone), of where you have been, Any Texts from you and texts received. Any person can ask for the information, that has been saved in their personal information area Facebook has stored on them. Yes this information can be deleted but to do that the Facebook account has to be deleted completely.

I host my own email and keep copies of anything financial or technical both to and from, going back YEARS.Every now and then it saves or makes me money.
I also use lots of email addresses cause I have a catch all account that gets anything @ my domain. I tend to use names that ID who i was dealing with so if the mail gets used for a nefarious purpose I know who got careless with their database. I have gotten several scam blackmail emails to a address I used years ago.This may ease your mind if you got similar a copy of this scam....

I seized virus on a web-site for adults (with porn) which was visited by you. When the target tap on a play button, device begins recording the screen and all cameras on your device starts working.

Moreover, my virus makes a rdp supplied with key logger function from your system , so I was able to save all contacts from ya e-mail, messengers and other social networks. I'm writing on dis e-mail because It's your corporate address, so u will read it.

I suppose that 500 usd is pretty enough for this little false. I made a split screen vid(records from screen (u have interesting tastes ) and camera ooooooh... its awful AF)

Not sure what you're getting ready to do, but I suggest not doing the work and not sending anything anywhere. It's like the "Nigerian" scheme where they send you a big check and you send back some fee and keep the rest. Couple weeks down the road the check is no good and you're out what you sent + bank fee.

In your case though it isn't a check but some counterfeit financial instrument (sounds to me) so you may be on the hook for counterfeit or forgery unless you could prove somebody sent it to you and you didn't know what you were doing.

On the odd occasion i play the "enough rope" game.......Telstra is the name of my internet provider.......... I have a lap top and use a landline connection at home............example; This happened just 2 days ago. I got a phone call through my landline phone.

Woman on the other end: Heloo i am calling from Telstra about your internet connection.

Me: I'm sorry I'm a bit hard of hearing, did you say your actually calling from Telstra??

Woman on the other end: Yes i am and I'm calling to tell you your internet will have to be turned off in the next 24 hours because you have a virus on your computer.

Me: What!... you have to turn off my internet because of a Virus you say.

Woman on the other end: Very quickly.............Yes, Yes and we need to shut down your internet because the virus is in your email and it it is using some of your network band and they have control of your computer.

Me: Worry in my voice: Oh shit.....you need to turn off my internet........what can i do???

Woman on the other end: Very helpfully, can you get on your computer.

Me: Yea not a problem.

Woman on the other end: Oh that's good, Turn your computer on and i can show you where the virus is.

Me: With concern and worry and an expectation of helplessness and please help in my voice. You can show me where the virus is ????

Woman on the other end: Voice raises an octave in excitement as she thinks she has hooked me Yes Yes on your computer and i will show you where the virus is.

Me: Joy and thanks in my voice as i say: you are going to show me where the virus is on my computer.......thats great....... thanks.

Me: Are you going to show me how to remove the virus as well?????????
