That is one good looking bike! Say, you that use them, doncha have a problem with the tank bags dulling and chaffing the paint?
Is it the rubbery quilted stuff or like felt?To protect paint from tank bag, but some tool box drawer liner from Harbor Freight. Cut a piece to match the bottom of the tank bag. Put it between the tank and the bag. No more scratches.

I must be regressing, age-wise. Took the FJ to town yesterday to pick up a prescription (the curse of "maturity" - pills...) and I had an absolute BLAST! Cool-ish at 55-59° but not uncomfortably so.
As soon as I got off the moonscape that passes for our local roads, I popped it in "A" mode and passed everything in sight, whether I needed to or not. Safely of course, if not quite legally. Except in a couple of relatively densely populated sections, I blissfully ignored those little signs on the side of the road with the numbers on them. Mostly in 4th with that marvelous engine right in it's sweet spot at 5000 RPM.
Roll up behind some unimaginative soul doing the speed limit (or more often, pushing it by 5 or so) have a peek up the road, pop out into the passing lane and grab a handful of that right grip and SHAZAM! the elbows pop out straight, the eyes narrow a bit and the grin widens and then it's time to back off and tuck back in where I belong.
I know, irresponsible and gives us 2 wheel types a bad name but DAMN it was fun and when I got home I felt better than I've felt in weeks. Felt like 16 again, if only mentally, instead of staring 70 in the face.
Rebel Rebel! You hooligans and your sport bikes! “ You never slow down You never grow old”
Trying that chlorine therapy president trump was talking abt...Oh and added the pic..thought that would be nice to see...
No pics but a bud texted "lets roll" So I dusted off Madness and we ran the country lanes for an hour or two. Felt great to be out.
Even riding alongside a Harley.
Gotta watch the corners, those wide farm implements kick a lot of gravel up when the inner wheels cut into the shoulders.

Mailman , It don't get near that hot here but I am worried about it.
Oh, yeah. It's sweltering. But gotta ride. I got my summer armor today and gave it a try. Really liked it.I imagine you substitute humidity for sheer heat.
