Wanted - Left side crankcase cover

Had this happen on my way home from work today and I have no idea why. Anybody got anything just sitting around out there? Or would it be worth it to look into having it welded?

Probably just get a different one. some chopper guy might want that one. Never seen anything like that.... What does it look like underneath? You might want to know what's under there. That didn't "just happen". Inquiring minds and all.

Didn't get a chance to look at it yet - i just managed to pick it up today from where it broke down. The only suggestion I've gotten so far has been that maybe the chain jumped the primary sprocket and bumped the case hard enough to break it...I'll look tomorrow and see but, the chain was a bit loose when I got it today so that might just be it.. Still looking to get a replacement though, come on guys! Someones gotta have something for cheap, right?
