very nice . I guess you are going to carry the yellow theme into the tank ! :wink2:
You fitting a front fender . Bike and rider are going to get smothered first patch of water you hit.

I cant for the life of me see how it can be comfortable to ride a bike with your knees up either side of your face but each to their own I guess.:bike:

Thanks. Yea we have a front fender for it, it's actually pictured with the rear fender (second pic I posted) Also, I hear you about knees up high. We are using the original foot controls. I'm 5'7" and it's a pretty comfortable stance, aggressive but not quite knees in your face lol.... The yellow only stays on the the components, we followed the stripes on the tank and fenders. The stripes are the same color as the frame so it ties in.

Just finished this build. Started out as a 1972 barn find basket case. Took a buddy and I one year, gallons of bourbon, and lots of blood, sweat , and tears.

Absolutely right! Just the frame was a 72. I wish we knew more about XS year differences when we got it. Spent lots of time buying wrong parts before we figured it out. Did you know that piston rings for a 72 motor won't fit a 75? Yeah......We do now!

Here's my. I call it the boardbob.

You need a new frame. If it runs, then it is as simple(well, you know!!) as putting the guts into the new frame.

Seems that thing is just for straight roads! Does look nice though!
